Framed Aluminum Upper Doors for the Polaris General 2-Seat
This Polaris General upper door kit from Spike fits all 2016-current General 1000 2-seat models, including XP models. Each framed door is built from 3/4" aluminum tubing with a large marine-grade vinyl zip-down window and an automotive-grade bulb seal, and the doors come off without tools after the first install.

- Lightweight, rigid frame keeps the upper door tight and sealed at high speed without an extra locking mechanism
- Large marine-grade vinyl window for visibility
- Heavy-duty zippered window with a roll-down strap; a snap strap holds it neatly in the down position
- Weather-tight automotive-grade bulb seal stays on the door (not on the frame) to keep cold and mud out
- After the first install, the doors come off and go back on with no tools
- Driver-side inner door grab handle included
- Door skin/frame assemblies and other replacement parts are sold separately if a door is ever damaged

Will this fit my machine?

Does it fit the General 4-seat?
No. It fits 2-seat General 1000 models only, including XP models. Spike does not offer door kits for any General 4-seat model.
Can I mount side mirrors with these doors?
Spike side view mirrors can only be used with the addition of the Seizmik 18069 General Mirror Mount bracket kit.
Do I need tools to take the doors off?
Only for the first install, which requires drilling. After that, the doors come off and go back on with no tools.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Spike Powersports warranties all of its products for 1 year from the date of purchase. Damage from abuse or an accident is not covered.
Is shipping free?
Yes — most of what we sell ships free to the lower 48 states. Orders under $150 have a flat $14.99 shipping fee.
