KFI #102170 Winch Mount for the Polaris Ranger XP 1000 and Ranger 1000
KFI’s #102170 tucks a front winch in behind the factory bumper on the 2018-and-newer Polaris Ranger XP 1000, Crew XP 1000, NorthStar and Texas Editions, plus the Ranger 1000 EPS and Premium. It is the direct replacement for KFI #101480.
Features
- Fits standard 3″ × 4-7/8″ bolt-pattern winches, including the Viper V3 4,500 lb (2025-and-newer models marked A also need the #102160 adapter — add it above)
- Mounts the winch tucked back behind the front bumper
- Complete installation instructions and mounting hardware included
- Roller fairlead and winch not included (add the roller fairlead above)

Before You Order
- A = the bumper is designed for WIDE winches only; for STANDARD-width winches with a 4.875″ fairlead bolt-up you need KFI’s #102160 Narrow Fairlead Adapter (add it above).
- B = wide winches with a 6.00″ fairlead bolt-up need KFI’s #102290 spacer kit; standard winches use the #102160 adapter as in A.
- C = 2020 Ranger 1000 EPS / Crew 1000 EPS: works ONLY with WIDE winches (6.00″ fairlead pattern) because of a weld nut inside the factory bumper.
- 13 = plastic trimming recommended. ** = requires KFI #UTV-WEK wire extension kit.
- KFI recommends the Polaris 3-pin wiring harness (KFI #101505) for wiring.
