This windshield is made from laminated safety glass like most automotive windshields.
It features a metal frame that can easily be removed with 6 thumbscrews.
The hand operated wiper can be operated from the drivers or passengers seat.
The louvers along the bottom allow a little airflow to keep the windshield from fogging and eliminate the draft from behind, common with most full windshields.

great windshield, lousy wiper
First the good: It's great to have a glass windshield for the Rhino. I can finally scrape ice off, and don't need to be as worried about scratches from dust. The frame is well made and it fits the cage great. Shipping was prompt, and even though the box was severely beaten when it arrived, the packaging was good enough to protect the contents. You will want to be there when it arrives, as the box is clearly marked that they are not responsible for freight damage after the box has been received. Now the bad: The cowl metal piece doesn't fit the plastic cowl particularly well. I have gaps under the seal that are much larger than expected. I'm an aircraft mechanic, not just a backyard hack, and I found the clamps challenging to install. This is especially true of the center clamps that have to go over the factory warning labels. The extra thickness with the labels makes it miserable. The only long term issue I have with the whole thing though is the cheap windshield wiper. This thing is a toy wiper. The wiper will not snap onto the arm, and even if it did, I don't think it would be of much use. I'm going to build my own wiper assembly.
