Product Description
Sure Grip Hand Controls for All Polaris
The Control You Need
Sure Grip has always given its users great control of their vehicles. UTV Parts and Accessories.com and Sure Grip have hand controls designed specifically for smaller off-road and UTV vehicles. Unlike other hand controls, Sure Grip’s control handle is in the vertical position, which gives precision control and the ability to drive with both hands on the wheel.
The advantages of Push/Rock style hand controls is being able to keep both hands on the wheel, excellent pedal feel, and ability to gas and brake at the same time, make them the ideal hand control for off road and leisure driving.
With two hands on the wheel, drivers have the control needed when headed off the beaten path. Vehicles can be driving normally when the hand controls are not needed.
To make your riding experience as safe and comfortable as possible, check out our selection of Harnesses and Hand Holds.
Please Note: Competent mechanical skills are required to install hand controls on your UTV. Some modifications may be required to your UTV to facilitate the installation of the hand controls.
What's Included in the Kit
Every Sure Grip recreational hand-control kit ships with the push/rock control handle, support rod, brake rod and tube, gas rod and tube, clamp-on bracket, retaining block and gas block.
Choose Your Grip (Optional Add-On)
Every kit drives with the standard push/rock handle. If you also want a steering-wheel grip so you can steer one-handed, pick it in the Add Accessories? dropdown above — each grip comes with its clamp-on steering wheel base.
Lead time: Sure Grip hand-control kits typically ship within 1 business day, direct from Sure Grip to your door.
Warranty: Sure Grip covers all mechanical components of its hand controls with a 48-month parts-only warranty.
Buying for a veteran, a client or a fleet? We're glad to quote and invoice VA medical centers, vocational-rehab agencies, nonprofits and dealers. Payment is due up front before the kit ships — call 800-596-0785 or email info@utvpartsandaccessories.com for a quote.
Veterans: mechanical hand controls for gas and brake are a listed item under the VA's Automobile Adaptive Equipment (AAE) program for service-connected disabilities. Coverage for UTVs and side-by-sides is decided case by case, so ask your VA Prosthetics & Sensory Aids department about AAE pre-authorization before you order, and keep your itemized invoice — reimbursement claims go on VA Form 10-1394.
How Push/Rock Hand Controls Work
Push forward to brake — rock back to accelerate. The rocking motion gives you full-range braking and acceleration with minimal hand travel, and the transition from gas to brake is smooth and immediate. Sure Grip designed this to be the easiest gas operation in the industry, so your forearm doesn't wear out on long rides.

Customer walkthrough of a Sure Grip kit on his golf cart. Every vehicle looks a bit different, but the general idea is the same: push to brake, rock back for gas.
Anyone Can Still Drive Your Machine
The kit does not remove or block your machine's pedals — the foot pedals stay fully functional at all times, so family and friends can hop in and drive with the pedals like normal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my machine?
The fitment details on this page list every machine the Sure Grip Hand Controls for All Polaris works with. If you're not 100% sure about your year and model, email info@utvpartsandaccessories.com or call 800-596-0785 before ordering — we'll confirm your exact fit in two minutes.
Can other people still drive the machine normally?
Yes. The foot pedals remain fully functional with the hand controls installed — nothing about normal pedal driving changes.
Can I get these hand controls set up for right-hand operation?
No — unfortunately Sure Grip has discontinued the right-hand option on its UTV hand controls, so every kit is now built for left-hand operation only. The foot pedals stay fully functional, so anyone else can still drive the machine normally.
Is shipping free?
Yes — most of what we sell ships free to the lower 48 states. Orders under $150 have a flat $14.99 shipping fee. Alaska and Canada shipments incur additional freight charges, and international shipping is available — we quote it individually so you get the best rate. Questions?
